Antique and modern globes, historic cities, cosmographies: cartography that tells time.
Historical and modern maps are much more than geography: they are decorative artifacts of great charm. The collection includes Renaissance globes, Dutch seventeenth-century planispheres, Venetian maps of Venice and Rome, Ottoman cartographies, nineteenth-century bird's-eye views of Italian cities, celestial atlases. Materials acquired from the world's leading archives (NYPL, Library of Congress, Boston Public Library) under Public Domain licenses. Perfect for professional studios, historic hotels, conference rooms, private libraries. The fineness of detail particularly emerges in large formats.
