Canvas ukiyo-e and japanese art
Hokusai, Hiroshige, Utamaro: the great ukiyo-e prints.
Ukiyo-e was born as printmaking, and it is the collection that sits most naturally on paper: Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa and Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, Hiroshige's Tokaido stations, Utamaro's figures, along with studies of flowers, carp and birds. The reproductions come from the museum collections that digitised them at high resolution. A single piece is enough to set the tone of an entrance hall or a tea room; in sets of three they become a whole wall. Every subject is printed on demand in the size you choose, on fine art papers or on stretched canvas.
