An intricate antique print, likely a hand-colored copperplate engraving, this piece showcases a wealth of cartographic and decorative detail. The world map is presented across two hemispheres, each framed by allegorical scenes and mythical sea creatures. Delicate hand-applied colors and precise linework enhance the accurate depiction of the known world from 1594.
