Eco Silk reproduces dupion, the raw silk with the irregular slub: fine, barely raised lines of never-quite-equal thickness that run across the wall and give it continuous movement. What sets it apart is the sheen. It is not a metallic reflection and it is not a pearl finish: it is light held by a fabric, discreet, and it only comes alive when the wall is lit from the side. Under raking light the wall shifts tone with every step; under frontal light it goes calm and even again. Colours come out deeper and slightly more saturated on this surface than on a matte paper, and gradients run without a break. It is the texture we recommend for elegant designs and saturated shades — deep blues, bottle greens, burgundy, black — where the silk works like a glaze. The textile surface sits on a backing you paste the wall for, so installation stays simple. The most refined texture in the range: bedrooms, dining rooms, suites, boutiques.
