Eco Cotton is real fabric on the wall: cotton yarns woven onto a wallpaper base, with the softness and the small irregularities only a natural fibre can have. It is the warmest texture we make. The relief of the yarn is there under your fingers and it softens everything: the corners of the room round off, the echo drops, and even a hard-edged graphic design takes on a domestic, welcoming character. Visually it works by subtraction. Cotton absorbs light instead of reflecting it, so colours come out fuller and more velvety, with no sheen at all. It is the ideal texture for natural shades — creams, earths, warm greys, sage greens — and for delicate designs, which here are never shouted. The backing makes hanging as simple as any ordinary paper — you paste the wall — even though the surface is genuinely textile. Choose it when the aim is not to astonish but to feel good: bedrooms, studies, living rooms, hotel rooms.
