A broad, dark band across the middle suggests a body of water, reflecting hints of lighter ochre and yellow from what appears to be a glowing sky or distant shore. Above the water, dense, dark forms with visible impasto create the impression of lush, perhaps forested, riverbanks, particularly on the right where the swirling textures are more pronounced.
